She also provides operational oversight and support to the company in the areas of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) data administration and risk management/compliance. Prior to coming on board with Global Learning Models, Emily spent 12 years honing her sales and account management skills within the education abroad, insurance/risk management, and recruitment sectors. Additionally, Emily has helped develop college internship programs and coordinated study abroad experiences for under-privileged high school students. Emily is a proud graduate of Antioch College in Yellow Springs, Ohio, and believes the experiential “world as your classroom” education she received allows her to better understand and market GLM’s unique offerings.

Eric Davis

Eric Davis, Chief Learning Officer

Eric brings vision and passion to GLM as its CLO and Co-Founder. Eric has developed a unique focus and skill-set as an edupreneur through 20 years experience as a teacher, director, and consultant. He has been fortunate to work with a vast array of students as well as organizations ranging from start-up non-profits to long-tenured anchors of the community.

After several years teaching and coaching middle & high school, Eric founded Educational Endeavors (2001) and Camp of Dreams (2003). These organizations have sustained their impact through strategic succession planning and led Eric to launch GCE Lab School and Global Learning Models. GLM designs and provides inquiry and project-based curriculum, professional development, and education technology. GLM has built its model through GCE Lab School in Chicago, which serves as the R & D hub and physical headquarters for partnerships with public, charter and private schools locally, nationally, and internationally.

Eric is inspired by the students, colleagues, and partners with whom he learns.

Marcus Duncan, Chief Technical Officer

Marcus is responsible for managing GLM’s digital infrastructure of business and product delivery; he oversees the strategy, design, development, and implementation of business solutions through the use of technology. For the past 14 years, Marcus has helped companies forge and deliver their message. His education and experience in visual design and strategy is fundamental to his understanding of the convergence of technology and communication. He has been on the ground floor of three businesses: Axleblack Design (founder), Ventricle Development (co-founder), and Orgonami.org (co-founder), each of which focused on the strategic software and marketing tools that lead to successful, healthy businesses. Recently, Marcus was involved in the relaunch of LearningSuccess Institute, which involved integrating Web-based software, digital infrastructure, websites, and an online learning style assessment.
